We are thrilled to congratulate Yuzhe Zhang and Zhe Liu on successfully defending their Ph.D. theses!
During their time in the Yang Group, Yuzhe and Zhe made significant contributions to the development of the CNEO framework. Their work played an important role in advancing CNEO molecular dynamics and nonadiabatic molecular dynamics methods, as well as applying these methods to important chemical problems involving nuclear quantum effects.
Beyond method development, Yuzhe and Zhe also contributed greatly to practical applications of CNEO, helping demonstrate how the framework can be used to study realistic molecular systems and hydrogen-related processes.
After graduation, Yuzhe will join Huawei in Hangzhou, and Zhe will join Amazon in Seattle. We are very proud of their achievements and grateful for their many contributions to the group.
Congratulations again to Dr. Zhang and Dr. Liu! We wish them all the best and a very bright future in their next chapters.
